This list is not exhaustive, however, it does provide a sound starting point for common Win32, UNIX and LINUX file types.

.afm

Adobe Font Manager. A Type 1 font in AFM format-- ATM-compatible.

Unknown type of audio file.

Animation/Movie file. Probably Quicktime.

Unknown type of compressed archive. There is an "unarj" decompressor.
